So, what’s the first thing you do in the morning?
The first thing I do in the morning when I wake up is boil a cup of green tea with lemon, wash my face and then get dressed for school.
What do you look for in a beauty product?
When I buy a new beauty product, especially if its skin-care, I try to find something with not many ingredients, and that is really simple and nourishing to my skin.
Trying to beauty/skin-care products, riding my horse, photography and writing.
Fancy dinner or park picnic?
When you were growing up what did you want to be?
I wanted to be a veterinarian for the longest time, but now I have been really interested in architecture and business.
Three things people wouldn’t know about you?
I am really a nature baby. In the city, their isn't lots of nature outlets so when I have the opportunity to go out of the city for the weekend, I always go. Also- I'm 5'11!
The biggest attraction about living in NYC?
Being more independent and have everything right outside my door.
And the hardest bit?
Not being able to go to the beach everyday like I did in LA.
What are your goals for your blog?
For girls to have an outlet where they feel like they have a voice in the pieces I right. I also would love to start having young girls my age start writing feature pieces for my website.
Tell me a little bit more about your beauty regime!
I have been obsessed with the NUDE Skincare products lately, so I use their whole line. They're products are all natural but do their job. In the morning I put a dime-size of their Omega cleanser on my Clarisonic. I never really exfoliated often, so I used to have really rough, dry skin but now I exfoliate about 3 times a week. I also use Tatcha face spray instead of a toner because it is really gentle, then finish of my routine with an oil and moisturizer from NUDE. Then I finish off my look with a little bit of either the Glossier concealer or my concealer by Willa, Boy Brow from Glossier, and finally a swipe of Glossier's lip color in Jam.
Any products you avoid? Or can’t live without?
I try to avoid products with harsh chemicals or products where I can't pronounce anything on the ingredients list. I can't live without Glossier products, especially their new Phase 2 makeup. I also can't live without Willa Face the Day Tinted Protection.
Who should I get down and Dirtea with next?
Hmmmm...maybe Olivia Jade. Her youtube channel has been booming and she has a really good gauge on beauty products and makeup.
